Not so crowded kopitiam around noon for weekday lunch. Curry fish head & bak kut teh were gd. Service was attentive, not pushy. Price was affordable. Staff even kindly offered to book a Grab for us after our meal. Overall we enjoyed our relaxing, tasty meal there.

The curry is very flavourful and thick. Lots of beancurd skin and cabbage. Only con is the fish head is quite small, only slightly bigger than the size of your palm, even for medium size. But the flesh is tender.

After trying, I concurred that this will be my go to curry fish head as compared to the famous one nearby.

The staff are friendly and helpful. Only thing is that they don't serve kopi/tea etc only bottle sugared drinks.

Curry fish head is fresh and the meat is sweet. The curry broth seasoning is on point and definitely will come back for more!

我弟一直说金玲咖喱鱼头比金X好吃，我今天刚好来新山，就来试试看，真的比金X好吃，而且不需要排队😎照片拍到不美，因为吃到一半才记得拍照🤣 一人份价钱加上白饭RM33，分量很足，鱼头肉多，腐竹、羊角豆和长豆也放很多，而且金铃的鱼头没有鱼腥味，咖哩浓郁，很合我的胃口！位置就在金X后面那条街，一个热闹的food court正对面，就是parking很难找。

Went on a wkday after 2pm. Ordered a medium size for 2 pax. The fish head is freshly cooked, served piping hot, curry is thick, tasty and spicy, with ample veggies and taokee. Taokee and youtiao can be extra ordered as add-ons.
Saw a few older reviews saying the place is hot and sweaty, but good news, the shop is now bright and airy w a few fans, n we enjoyed our food cooly!
Other dish avail is bakuteh, which we din try.
Overall is definitely way much more worth it than the other nearby famous shop, in terms of food quality, and overall value, without queue!

Initially planned to JB to try the famous main road one as that’s the one I prefer after trying both. Their broth was thicker in my opinion and over here was more diluted and less gao

However I didn’t realise they were closed on a Monday.

No choice have to visit this place again to satisfy my curry fish head craving

Rm 35 for single portion of piping hot curry fish head , rice and a drink

Fish head was sizeable and meaty, good amount of veggie and beancurd skin. Fish was fresh with no fishy taste

Last but not least the curry sauce was addicting, somehow much improved over the previous time I tried it

Been going this place for years now and their curry fish head always consistent and never fail me whenever I drop by to JB. I really respect the shop owner, even at his old age he always present at the shop counter.

From my personal perspective, their curry is more on the ticker side and more flavourful compare to the "other shop infront"
(**honest review due to curiosity I went both shop on same day to do a taste comparison)
Honestly, it was an instant regret to try out the "front shop". They used to be good but now their curry is more on the diluted side and really lack of flavor- unless you like diluted type of curry 😅

Hence, I will definitely stick to this shop for my next curry fish head. 🥰🤤

P/S: Do order the medium/large size for meaty fish head
